External praise for SWP partner Lancashire County Council

The bi-ennial visit of the awarding body CACHE (Centre for the Awards in Children's Care and Education) centre advisor was again successful for Lancashire and the report recorded complete adherence to regulatory requirements. 

The centre advisor made particular reference to a strong equal opportunities ethos providing fair access to assessment across the full range of educational settings. Reference was also made to how qualifications had been adapted to meet the diverse job roles within the school settings. Good practice was acknowledged throughout and this is evidenced by high retention and completion rate of 85% for the academic year 2008-2009.
